The resulting aesthetic is what we fondly call "Wild West Modern with a playful heart." Our clients, true nature lovers of Jackson Hole, envisioned a home brimming with historical nods to the West, brought to life through carefully selected Navajo-inspired area rugs, bedding featuring subtle Western motifs, and a rich tapestry of textural layering evident in the chosen wallpaper and patterns. Their wonderfully playful spirit was a constant source of inspiration, encouraging us to create an environment that felt both undeniably sophisticated and joyfully reflective of their unique personality.

Our meticulous design process for Antelope Flats began with a foundational understanding of scale. Working directly from the architectural blueprints, we strategically layered in the precise dimensions of the client's existing Jackson Hole Furniture pieces. The iconic artistry of Ralph Lauren, the timeless patterns of Pendleton blankets, and the striking geometric beauty of Navajo rugs served as our primary muses. These powerful elements provided the foundational "design strings" that guided our dedicated team of Interior Designers. We then skillfully built upon this established foundation, introducing textured Moroccan area rugs and sumptuously soft shearling throws to add layers of depth and an inviting tactile richness. The true beauty of the Antelope Flats project lay in its deeply collaborative spirit. Working hand-in-hand with our client, Elevated Living Interiors expertly curated a design that was entirely unique to their individual style, seamlessly weaving a contemporary twist into the clean, architectural framework of their beloved residence.

Like any truly creative endeavor, the Antelope Flats project presented its unique set of challenges. A particularly cherished fabric, one that perfectly embodied the client's vision, was unfortunately discontinued. However, at Elevated Living Interiors, we view such setbacks as opportunities for bespoke creation. Collaborating closely with Opuzen, a trusted partner, we embarked on an exciting journey to meticulously recreate the beloved textile. We didn't simply settle for a similar option; instead, we custom-designed the entire color palette to perfectly complement the residence's existing Western Accessories and overall scheme, expertly layering sophisticated neutrals with vibrant pops of energizing yellow and warm burnt orange.

The ultimate success of Antelope Flats was profoundly intertwined with our exceptionally close and communicative collaboration with the client. Every single design decision was a shared one, fostering a true sense of co-creation. Our established process involved engaging pre-meeting presentations where we thoughtfully showcased a diverse range of "looks" through carefully selected fabrics, rich wood finishes, elegant metal samples, and captivating rugs. This interactive approach empowered the client to actively participate in the design process, often artfully pulling individual elements from different presentations to ultimately create a final design that felt authentically and uniquely "them." This iterative and client-focused approach ensured that the final product not only flawlessly met but significantly exceeded their initial expectations, resulting in a home that truly resonated with their personal style.

Working with the wonderful Antelope Flats clients was an incredibly joyful process of shared discovery. Their genuine love and appreciation for beautiful fabrics and thoughtfully designed furniture made each and every selection an exciting and rewarding step. By the project's successful completion, we had accumulated a cherished collection of beautiful fabric samples, beloved but ultimately not utilized in the final design, carefully saved with the hopeful promise of sparking "future" inspiration.

This infectious enthusiasm, coupled with the creative freedom to explore without unnecessary constraint, was, without a doubt, our absolute favorite aspect of bringing the breathtaking Wild West Modern sanctuary of Antelope Flats to life. And the carefully chosen lighting and strategically placed Western Art further enhanced the unique character of this exceptional home.
