Best known for being featured in the legendary Western Feature Film Shane, the Cowboy Barn in Jackson, Wyoming is a local landmark. Elevated Living had the opportunity to transform the space with a functional and characteristic play on the historic building. We modernized the fireplace by painting the red brick black, updated the kitchen, and installed custom barnwood desks detailed with nailhead accents and hand painted red beading. All the furniture had to be lifted onto the roof and installed through windows as nothing could be brought up the winding stairs leading to the 2nd floor.
